Lychee season.



It is time for lychee picking and selling on the Big island. The vendors have set up their booths every couple miles along the rural highways here.

We have a huge old lychee tree in the back yard which is nice for shade, but who can get lychee growing 40 feet up? Not I.  I'd rather dive 40 meters down, probably safer for such as I.

The lychee tree's sweet fruit are wonderful fresh healthy food, though.
